# Lý do ra đời vBTC

Bitcoin (BTC), tài sản số đầu tiên, được coi là "vàng kỹ thuật số" nhờ khả năng lưu trữ giá trị và nguồn cung giới hạn. Với khả năng chia nhỏ linh hoạt đến 0.00000001 BTC (1 Satoshi\*), Bitcoin mang đến giải pháp tích lũy tài sản tối ưu và cạnh tranh hơn vàng nhờ tính phi tập trung, tính minh bạch, tính an toàn và thanh khoản cao, cũng như bảo mật thông tin.

Nhằm tận dụng những ưu điểm vượt trội của Bitcoin, vBTC ra đời như một giải pháp giúp mọi người sở hữu khối lượng Bitcoin với đa dạng lượng vốn. # Cơ chế neo giá vBTC

vBTC được thiết kế với tỷ lệ neo giá cố định, tương ứng **1 BTC = 10⁸ vBTC**, đảm bảo mỗi đơn vị vBTC phản ánh chính xác giá trị của 1 satoshi. Cơ chế này duy trì sự ổn định về giá trị và nhất quán trong toàn bộ hệ thống.

* Khi người dùng thực hiện **mint vBTC**, tài sản nạp vào sẽ được hoán đổi sang BTCB thông qua các giao thức DEX như PancakeSwap hoặc Uniswap. Lượng BTCB thu được sau khi hoán đổi sẽ được lưu trữ trong Smart contract, đóng vai trò làm tài sản bảo chứng. Dựa trên số BTCB đã ghi nhận và tỷ lệ neo giá cố định, hệ thống phát hành lượng vBTC tương ứng và chuyển trực tiếp đến ví người dùng.
* Ngược lại, trong quá trình **redeem vBTC**, người dùng nạp lại vBTC để nhận lại lượng BTCB tương đương theo tỷ lệ **1 BTC = 10⁸ vBTC** từ pool lưu trữ. Sau khi BTCB được chuyển đến ví người dùng, toàn bộ số vBTC vừa nạp sẽ được burn để đảm bảo nguồn cung lưu thông được kiểm soát chặt chẽ và minh bạch.


# Cơ chế chuyển đổi

### **Chuyển đổi vBTC**

Chuyển đổi vBTC là cách gọi khác về cơ chế Mint dựa trên giao thức vBTC theo Việt ngữ. Điều này đồng nghĩa với việc vBTC sẽ được tạo mới và tự động thêm vào nguồn cung lưu thông. Sau khi kết nối Ví của người dùng và chuyển đổi một lượng tài sản được hỗ trợ (như USDT, USDC, ETH, BNB hoặc BTCB) trên giao thức vBTC, người dùng sẽ nhận lại được một lượng vBTC tương đương theo tỷ lệ cố định tại thời điểm giao dịch.

### **Chuyển đổi BTCB**

Chuyển đổi BTCB là cách gọi khác cho cơ chế Redeem. Trong quá trình này, người dùng nạp lại vBTC vào giao thức. Sau khi xác nhận, hệ thống sẽ chuyển lượng BTCB tương ứng về ví người dùng, đồng thời burn số vBTC đã nạp để đảm bảo cân bằng nguồn cung.

vBTC vận hành trên BNB Chain - blockchain có độ bảo mật cao và cấu trúc phi tập trung. Hệ thống thừa hưởng toàn bộ cơ chế bảo vệ hạ tầng của BNB Chain, đảm bảo an toàn và chống giả mạo cho mọi giao dịch liên quan đến vBTC.

Toàn bộ quá trình mint và redeem được xử lý qua smart contract, với dữ liệu được ghi nhận công khai, minh bạch và không thể chỉnh sửa. Điều này giúp loại bỏ rủi ro thao túng và tăng cường tính tin cậy của giao dịch.

# Cài đặt Ví

Danh sách ví hỗ trợ trên phiên bản vBTC On-chain hiện tại:

# Kết nối mạng (network)

Hiện tại, vBTC chỉ hỗ trợ duy nhất mạng BNB Chain. Để có thể sử dụng đầy đủ tính năng, vui lòng thực hiện:

* Chuyển mạng của ví đang kết nối sang BNB Chain
* Thêm mạng thủ công (nếu chưa có)
  * Network Name: **BNB Chain**
  * New RPC URL: **<https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/>**
  * ChainID: **56**
  * Symbol: **BNB**
  * Block Explorer URL: **<https://bscscan.com>**

Nhấn "**Lưu**" để thêm mạng.


# Hướng dẫn kết nối Ví

Để sử dụng tính năng kết nối ví, người dùng cần chọn phiên bản on-chain. Tại thanh menu, chọn nút Kết nối ví.<br>

Một cửa sổ sẽ hiển thị danh sách các ví khả dụng để kết nối với vBTC on-chain. Người dùng có thể:

* Chọn trực tiếp một loại ví (ví dụ: Metamask, Coinbase Wallet...), hoặc
* Kết nối thông qua mã QR bằng WalletConnect để tiếp tục.<br>

1 cửa sổ xác nhận kết nối ví với vBTC on-chain sẽ được hiển thị trên thiết bị của người dùng. Chọn Xác nhận để tiếp tục.

Nếu ví của người dùng chưa có mạng BNB Chain, hệ thống sẽ yêu cầu người dùng thêm mới. Chọn Xác nhận để tiếp tục.

Tại bước cuối cùng, hệ thống sẽ yêu cầu người dùng ký xác thực ví với nền tảng để bắt đầu sử dụng. Chọn Xác nhận để tiếp tục.

# Mint vBTC On-chain

Người dùng sẽ deposit một trong các token được hỗ trợ gồm: **BTCB, BNB, ETH, USDT, USDC** để mint vBTC. Hệ thống sẽ ước tính số lượng vBTC nhận được dựa trên tỷ giá BTC tại thời điểm thực hiện giao dịch.

**📌 Lưu ý:**

* Đảm bảo ví có đủ số dư token deposit và BNB để làm phí gas.
* Sau khi nhấn “**Xác nhận giao dịch**”, vBTC được mint sẽ tự động chuyển vào ví cá nhân. Người dùng kiểm tra số dư vBTC trong ví sau khi hoàn tất.

#### **Cách truy cập form Mint vBTC:**

Tại form Mint / Redeem vBTC, chọn chức năng Mint. Người dùng có thể chọn loại tài sản dùng để mint vBTC on-chain từ danh sách hỗ trợ sau:

* BTCB
* USDT
* USDC
* ETH
* BNB

Chọn token bằng cách nhấn vào biểu tượng token tương ứng trong danh sách:

Trước khi giao dịch, ví sẽ yêu cầu người dùng cấp quyền sử dụng loại token đã chọn để mint vBTC. Khi popup xác nhận xuất hiện, vui lòng nhấn “Phê duyệt” để cho phép hệ thống sử dụng token trong ví.

Nếu người dùng đã cấp quyền trước đó, bước này sẽ được bỏ qua khi thực hiện giao dịch mint.

#### **Xác nhận giao dịch mint vBTC trên ví**

Sau khi phê duyệt thành công, popup sẽ đánh dấu hoàn tất bước cấp quyền và chuyển sang bước xác nhận giao dịch mint vBTC trên ví. Vui lòng nhấn “Xác nhận” để hoàn tất quá trình mint vBTC on-chain.

# Redeem vBTC On-chain

Trong quá trình redeem vBTC, người dùng sẽ deposit token vBTC để nhận về token [BTCB](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/binance-bitcoin) (Bitcoin trên mạng BNB Chain) có giá trị tương đương.

**📌 Lưu ý:**

* Đảm bảo ví có đủ số dư vBTC để thực hiện redeem.
* Cần có BNB làm phí gas để giao dịch được xử lý thành công.

Sau khi giao dịch hoàn tất, lượng vBTC được sử dụng để redeem sẽ tự động bị burn khỏi nguồn cung.

#### **Cách truy cập form Redeem vBTC:**

# Mint vBTC Off-chain

**Bước 1: Điền thông tin mint vBTC**

Tại trang Mint - Redeem, chọn **“Mint”** và điền thông tin cần thiết:

1. Chọn tài sản muốn dùng để Mint.
2. Số lượng giao dịch: Nhập số lượng tài sản muốn, giá trị tối thiểu và tối đa sẽ phụ thuộc vào giá của tài sản mà người dùng lựa chọn.

# vBTC Pegging mechanism

vBTC is designed with a fixed peg ratio of **1 BTC = 10⁸ vBTC**, ensuring that each unit of vBTC precisely reflects the value of one satoshi. This mechanism maintains price stability and consistency across the entire system.

When users mint vBTC, the deposited assets are swapped into BTCB through DEX protocols such as PancakeSwap or Uniswap. The resulting BTCB is then stored in a smart contract and serves as collateral. Based on the recorded BTCB amount and the fixed peg ratio, the system issues the corresponding amount of vBTC and transfers it directly to the user’s wallet.

Conversely, during the redemption process, users return vBTC to receive an equivalent amount of BTCB at the fixed rate of **1 BTC = 10⁸ vBTC** from the collateral pool. Once the BTCB is transferred to the user's wallet, the submitted vBTC is permanently burned to ensure a transparent and strictly controlled circulating supply.


# vBTC Conversion mechanism

### **vBTC conversion**

vBTC Conversion refers to the minting process, as defined by the vBTC protocol in Vietnamese terminology. This means new vBTC tokens are generated and added to the circulating supply. After connecting their wallet and converting a supported asset (such as USDT, USDC, ETH, BNB, or BTCB) through the vBTC protocol, users receive an equivalent amount of vBTC based on the fixed exchange rate at the time of the transaction.

### **BTCB conversion**

BTCB Conversion refers to the redeem process. In this process, users deposit vBTC back into the protocol. Upon confirmation, the system transfers the corresponding amount of BTCB to the user's wallet and simultaneously burns the redeemed vBTC to maintain supply balance.

* **Simple Minting and Redeeming process**: Users can mint off-chain vBTC by selecting supported assets (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, BNB, SOL, SUI), entering the desired amount, and confirming the transaction on Nami Exchange. Similarly, redeeming only requires users to input the vBTC amount, verify balances, and receive BTC or another asset. All transaction history is clearly recorded under the “History” section for easy tracking.
* **User-friendly for newcomers**: The off-chain model requires no private key management or blockchain wallet setup. Users simply log into Nami Exchange (via email, password, and account verification) to begin using vBTC immediately, with account synchronization between Nami Exchange and the vBTC system.

# Login guide

**Step 1: Access the Nami Exchange login page**&#x20;

On the vBTC website menu bar, select **"Sign In."** The system will automatically redirect users to the Nami Exchange login portal.

**Step 2: Log in to vBTC with your Nami Exchange Account**

On the Nami Exchange login page, enter the following information:

* Email
* Password
* Account verification (if any)

Once successfully logged in, users will be redirected back to vbtc.me. The account will be synchronized with the vBTC system, allowing users to hold vBTC in their Spot wallet on Nami Exchange.

# Network Configuration

vBTC On-Chain currently supports the **BNB Chain** network. To access full functionality, please follow these steps:

* Switch the connected wallet’s network to **BNB Chain**
* If the network is not available, add it manually using the following details:
  * Network Name: **BNB Chain**
  * New RPC URL: **<https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/>**
  * Chain ID: **56**
  * Currency Symbol: **BNB**
  * Block Explorer URL: **<https://bscscan.com>**

Click “**Save**” to complete the network setup.


# Wallet connection

To use the wallet connection feature, users must select the **On-Chain** version. From the main menu, click the “**Connect Wallet**” button.

A window will appear displaying the list of supported wallets for vBTC On-Chain. Users can:

* Select a wallet directly (e.g., MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet), or
* Connect via QR code using WalletConnect.

A confirmation window will appear on the user’s device to approve the connection to the vBTC On-Chain protocol. Click “**Confirm**” to proceed.

If the user's wallet does not have the **BNB Chain** network configured, the system will prompt to add it. Click “**Confirm**” to continue.

In the final step, the system will request a **wallet signature** to authenticate the connection with the platform. Click “**Confirm**” to complete the process.

Once the wallet is successfully connected, the shortened wallet address will be displayed in the menu bar along with a confirmation message indicating a successful connection.

In the On-Chain version, users can easily manage their wallet directly on the platform. To access this feature, click on the wallet address displayed in the top menu bar.

Within the wallet management interface, users can:

* Copy their wallet address
* View the logo and full name of the connected network
* View a list of assets, displaying tokens with balances greater than 0.\
  Additionally, users can choose to hide tokens with balances below $1.

### **Disconnecting the Wallet**

To disconnect your wallet, click the “Disconnect Wallet” button within the wallet management interface.

Users can deposit one of the supported tokens - BTCB, BNB, ETH, USDT, or USDC - to mint vBTC. The system will estimate the amount of vBTC to be received based on the BTC exchange rate at the time of the transaction.

### **Step 1: Select a Token to Mint vBTC**

In the Mint / Redeem vBTC form, select the "Mint" function. Users can choose one of the following supported tokens to mint vBTC on-chain:

* BTCB
* USDT
* USDC
* ETH
* BNB

Select the token by clicking on its corresponding icon in the list.

### **Step 2: Enter amount and view transaction estimate**

Enter the amount of the digital asset you wish to deposit. The system will automatically display the estimated amount of vBTC you will receive.

If the exchange rate is updated during this process, the system will prompt you to refresh the rate. To proceed, click <img src="/files/liLJ2QEmiT9Q0VMAKDxz" alt="" data-size="line">.

After retrieving the latest exchange rate, click <img src="/files/RnuZr2JKAsi6phJ3D4Sa" alt="" data-size="line"> again to complete the on-chain vBTC minting transaction.

### **Steps for approval and transaction confirmation:**

#### **Token approval in wallet**

Before proceeding with the transaction, your wallet will prompt you to grant permission to use the selected token for minting vBTC. When the approval popup appears, please click “**Approve**” to authorize the protocol to access the token in your wallet.

If you have already granted approval for this token in the past, this step will be automatically skipped during the minting process.

#### **Confirming the Mint transaction in wallet**

After a successful approval, the popup will mark the approval step as complete and move to the mint transaction confirmation step. Please click “Confirm” to finalize the vBTC on-chain minting process.

#### **Mint Transaction Processing and Completion**

Once the minting transaction is confirmed, it will be processed on-chain. The minted vBTC will be sent directly to your wallet.

To view your vBTC balance in the wallet, please manually add the token using the following details:

* Network: **BNB Chain**

* Token Symbol: **vBTC**

# Redeem vBTC On-Chain

During the redeem process, users deposit vBTC tokens to receive an equivalent amount of BTCB (Bitcoin on BNB Chain).

**📌 Note:**

* Ensure your wallet has a sufficient vBTC balance to proceed with the redemption.
* BNB is required to cover gas fees for the transaction.

Once the transaction is completed, the redeemed vBTC will be automatically burned from the total supply.

### **How to access the Redeem vBTC form:**

* Click the button at the top of the page to navigate to the Mint / Redeem vBTC form. Then select the “Redeem” option to begin redeeming vBTC on-chain.
* Use the toggle button to switch between Mint and Redeem modes within the form.

### **Step 1: Enter vBTC Amount**

In the Redeem section, enter the amount of vBTC you wish to deposit. The system will automatically estimate the amount of BTCB you will receive.

Similar to the token approval process in the vBTC minting flow, users must grant permission to use the selected amount of vBTC from their wallet to proceed with redemption. Once the approval is successful, click Confirm in the wallet popup to execute the Redeem transaction.

# Mint vBTC Off-chain

**Step 1: Enter minting information**

In the Mint - Redeem section, select the **“Mint”** tab and provide the required details:

1. Select the digital asset.
2. Enter the transaction amount: Input the quantity of the selected digital asset to be minted. The minimum and maximum amounts depend on the token’s market price.
3. Check your digital asset balance and review the estimated amount of vBTC you will receive.

*Note: The exchange rate between supported assets and vBTC is determined based on the digital asset’s BTC trading pair rate at the time of a successful mint.*
